The wiki that I chose to discuss talks about Tips for beginners in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It is a very useful blog because it can teach you a lot if you are a beginner. When I started Jiu-Jitsu, I never thought about researching common mistakes, so instead I found myself constantly making those common mistakes. Now, somebody has written a blog about beginner mistakes so that beginners would avoid these mistakes at all costs. A lot can be gained from this blog because it covers control, attacking, grip fighting, weight positioning, balance, as well as many other topics. When I first read the blog, I thought it listed too much information, but then I read it more carefully and I actually learned from it, even though I am far from a beginner. Back when I started Jiu-Jitsu, I was told everything in the blog, but it took several months for people to tell me everything. Now, over 2 years later from when I started, I occasionally forget things that I learned as a beginner. This blog helped me remember a lot of the things I forgot. This blog can also help anybody that is just getting into Jiu-Jitsu because it is basically a script telling beginners how to fight. If you begin doing Jiu-Jitsu and you have some tips to add, feel free; However, I feel that this blog has all of the information needed to succeed.
